Come and see the Art by the Mutasa Brothers from Zimbabwe
As the days lead up to the unveiling of our new super space to showcase our luxury vehicles in May, John Paul Jones (Founder and CEO of Wiggle Car Hire) was immediately interested by the magnificent life-like art sculptures of animals created by recycled car parts at Hout Bay Harbour. He decided he needed to meet the Artist and a bond and common interest was evolved.
From then, we have been showcasing his work alongside our luxury vehicles and selling it in support. Taking advantage of the prime location in the City Centre of Cape Town and creating a unique experience for guest when they visit us or walk by.
Know more about the Artist;
Chenjerai and Mambakwedza Mutasa are brothers from Zimbabwe who had passion for art from a young age. They were using clay to create paintings and sculptures and their Father encouraged them study at Peter Beach school of arts and BAT vision art school to pursue their talents and passions.
“Inspired by the creator to create, a sheep to the shepherd, God’s instrument by his word, the Bible. What I see him do, I do, what he says ,I say”
The sculptures are mainly spiritual works aimed to enlighten the spirit of man. They also enjoy experimenting with different materials and recycled materials to create natures animals and other mythical, cultural sculptures.
Every First Thursday we are open for the public, our clients, suppliers and friends to enjoy complimentary drinks with us, music and engage yourself in what a Wiggle Experience is all about. We do a unique set up and light display with the vehicles and art works.
