Hi, I’m John and I own Wiggle Convertible Car Hire, our family business based in Cape Town. (Oh, and here’s my daughter Chloe, checking the paintwork on one of our convertible cars.)
We take the utmost pride in what we do. From the care of our cabriolets to the personal service we give, we strive to ensure that every customer gets the most out of this wonderful place and leaves you itching to come back. Yes, we do Car Rental Cape Town but just ask if you need advice on more than just car hire i.e. what to see and do, Cape Town events, best driving routes etc. We will be very happy to oblige. And also just ask if you have any special requests.
We appreciate that our success depends on you coming back and recommending our car rental. We hope you will.
Having grown up in London and lived a dozen years in Paris, I first came to Cape Town eight years ago to escape a dark European winter. That year I spent a little more than three months here and I didn’t see a drop of rain. The sun shone and the wind blew. Perfect convertible car weather! The natural beauty and the climate was the perfect remedy for the European blues. I discovered a rich and fascinating country.
Downing a beer at the airport with a new best buddy, I knew I would be coming back the next year, and the next. And every year I would spend the first week just driving around the sweeping curves of Table Mountain, along the Atlantic Seaboard, down to Cape Point. Each moment feeling the emotional pull of this incredible place. And Wiggle Convertible Car Hire born. I’ve now been here for 7 years.
There are pros and cons to this country. Its future is potentially brilliant and yet uncertain. But it’s undeniably a dazzling and beautiful place. It strikes me as a sort of mislaid paradise. Life is somehow more real and more surreal at once than in our hyper-mediated western metropoles. What I love about what we do is getting the cars back and seeing that people have felt some of that passion too, and that having a convertible car from us has been integral to their experience.
It’s essentially a physical thing. This is the Cape. You need to feel it. Please join us, rent the Sky!
